The Himalayas strech for 1,600 miles. They Himylayan mountians are 200 to 250 feet wide. The himalayas are 30 to 50 million years old. They were created by a big movement in the earthe's surface.The peeks on the himilayas are 20,000 feet high. The Himalayas are still forming to this day.

The middle part is about 50 miles long. The highth is between 6,000 feet to 10,000 feet. There is a lot of forests and a lot of rocky grass. There is a lot of vallies and hill towns. The middle part of the himalayas boder the plains of India. The middle part of the Himalayas are made up of flat vallies.
